Partnerships
Rising Showbiz Review considers clearly defined collaborations that suit its coverage of comedy and help readers find relevant work, events or creative projects. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage or a favourable opinion.
Possible collaborations
We may consider partnerships connected to comedy publishing, performance, festivals, educational activity or other cultural projects. A proposal should explain the work, intended audience, proposed contribution and any payment or reciprocal arrangement. We consider fit and clarity before discussing a placement.
Partner placements
Relevant partner links or listings may appear in agreed placements across the publication. Their location and format should be clear, and any paid, sponsored or partner-supported material is labelled. We do not disguise advertising as independent reporting or promise that a partner will receive an editorial recommendation.
How to propose one
Use the Contact page to outline the organisation or project, the type of collaboration you have in mind and any relevant timing or conditions. Keep the proposal specific. We review each approach on its merits and may decline work that does not fit the publication or could confuse readers about editorial independence.
A laugh is a moment of recognition.
Comedy can surprise, unsettle or bring a room together. We look at the choices behind that moment without reducing a joke to a formula.
